Understanding the Latin American context is fundamental to doing business successfully in the region. Cultural diversity, different levels of economic development, legal peculiarities and political dynamics are key aspects that influence the business environment. Understanding the customs, values and needs of the local population allows you to adapt business strategies effectively, gaining the trust of consumers and fostering long-term business relationships.

All courses in this minor will be taught in Spanish, except for:
- Logistics and Supply Chains in Latin America
- Business Strategies to Enter Latin American Markets

Objectives

The minor in Business in Latin America will give you an in-depth understanding of the political, economic and commercial environment of Latin America, with a specific focus on Uruguay. You will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to identify business opportunities, establish business relationships and develop effective strategies for operating in the Latin American market.
